What is Respite Care?
The Comstock House provides respite care for families and caregivers looking for a temporary break from looking after their loved ones who might otherwise require permanent placement in a facility outside the home. Respite programs provide planned short-term and time-limited breaks for families and other unpaid care givers. Respite care allows for a short term stay, 24 hours per day – up to a months stay, at the Comstock House. Respite care residents receive all of the benefits of a full time resident. A respite stay can serve as a short-term stay, or for residents to “get acquainted” with senior care living.
